How to Be a Positive Leader

A leader is a person who has the power to lead a group or an organization. A leader is the backbone of that organization. A positive leader should be a model to all and should skillfully spread positive emotions to all. Leadership is not a difficult job because leadership is a behavior, and it is not role-playing (Neilsen) so that individuals create their atmosphere to lead their group. There are several things to follow to become a positive leader. 

Identify the strengths and weaknesses: A leader should be aware of their strength and weaknesses in their field so that they can modify the strength and practice to overcome the weakness.

Find out the purpose: A positive leader should primarily find out the purpose of their position as a leader through which they can perform well.

A positive relationship between others: By maintaining a positive relationship with the members of the group can make a positive outcome

Maintaining positive energy networks: A positive leader should manage to maintain a positive energy network with all members of the group.

Positive communication with others: A positive leader should always try to communicate with others very positively and hopefully. This hopeful communication will maintain a positive attitude among the members to work together.

Resilience: A good leader should maintain resilience in all circumstances. This quality measures the maturity level of a leader.

In positive leadership, the individuals require a positive attitude towards life and should have an awareness of the purpose, duties, and responsibilities. The concept of a positive leader is introduced by Kim Cameron as, “Leadership is a thing more than about attaining the goal or avoiding troubles” (Cameron). Positive leaders never step back from their duties and responsibilities.
